Open to visits? YesMy name is Asha Swanberg, this is my fourth year in MYWY and my second riding mustang. Pockets’ personality fits her name. She is very easy going and willing to do whatever you ask her. She is a stocky little mare that will be able to carry a rider much bigger than I am. She learns quickly and doesn't forget what you have taught her. We are still getting started under saddle with only one ride so far (She did amazing!). She’s doing great with her feet (already head her first farrier visit, loading into and backing out of the trailer, baths, ponying off other horses and she loves to stand outside her pen and graze while I muck her pen not wanting to be too far from me. Pockets will be a great first mustang project for an amateur teen, young adult or someone newer to horses with a trainer.

Open to visits? Yes. Visitors, are welcome, especially those interested in determining if Cooper is a good fit for their situation.Jean has been riding, training and teaching for more than half a century. Currently recovering from a non-horse related fall, unable to sit or ride, thus Cooper will not be ridden by her at the event. Cooper began this journey quite wild and fearful. Though he started slowly, he made progress every day. Cooper is a very aware though naturally laid back fellow with a flowing trot. The vet summed him up when he said, “This fellow just wants to get along.” He has an enormous amount of try and is growing in his trust in leaps and bounds. In June, he completed nearly all of the obstacles at the Spokane Mounted Patrol Pathway to Partnership event.

Email: CowgirlLibby9@gmail.com
Phone: 360-461-2983
Available for adoption? Yes
Open to visits? YesMeet Jack! Jack is a STOUT 7-8 year old gelding. He is going to be able to carry a larger sized rider with ease due to his height and strength. Jack’s movement is insanely smooth and dreamy He will do well in three day eventing, dressage or obstacle courses. Out of the five mustangs I have trained, Jack is by far the most challenging but he’s got a very sweet personality that comes out once you earn his trust and respect. You can tell that he spent most of his life taking care of himself and is slow to trust but once he does, he looks to you for the answer. He’s going to be a once in a lifetime horse for someone who isn’t in a hurry with his training and can set firm, compassionate limits.

Open to visits? YesMowgli is an absolutely stunning gelding with excellent conformation, a solid build, and beautiful movement. He’s athletic and is the type of horse that will last all day in the mountains, but is fancy enough to take to town and show. Mowgli is hilarious with a curious, expressive, bold, and confident personality. He has been slower to come around and is still holding on to some of his “tough guy” wild stallion exterior. He will require a skilled, confident handler at this point. Mowgli is incredibly smart and I believe he’ll be a great horse for someone that’s in it for the long haul.

Open to visits? Yes, visitors are welcome and it's preferred that you meet the horse prior to the event/adoption/auction. I am also open to hauling out to a public arena if you would like to meet on neutral territory.Roulette is a very outgoing horse who wants to please. Her build is that of a light saddle horse and I would expect her to grow to 15-15.2 hh and fill out 950-1000 lbs. She is always watching her people and is first to meet you at the gate, whether it's for a work session or to be turned out to pasture. Roulette is easy to catch in any area, she is very curious natured so she usually seeks her humans out, She loads easily, picks up her feet, stands for clipping of her bridle path and brand. With Mustang Matt’s help she has been lightly started under saddle. We are currently working on mounting and dismounting both with and without a mounting block, learning to give to pressure and to move forward from pressure applied to her side. Generally we do obstacle work at least once a week. She is brave and willing to try new things. Of my two fillies this year, she is the alpha of their herd of two.

Open to visits? Yes! I strongly believe it is important for any interested party to contact the trainer.,Diva is a diva... not in a bad way, she has some flair in her personality which makes her adorable and a diva at the same time. She is the type that when introduced to something, she'll say "I don't wanna" but if you consistently ask with rhythm, she will do the "fine!" look and proceed with whatever was being asked of her. She seems to love bridges, any kind of bridge, she will walk over them without hesitation and in regardless of the type of bridge, it doesn't faze her at all. I see her as a great trail and obstacle partner though she would also be awesome as a show horse with her stunning stripes and color. She loves meeting new people and is not shy about showing you her favorite scratching spots. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to learn more about this amazing little mustang with a huge heart and personality!

Open to visits? YesMy name is Sophia Hayes I am 31 years old. This is my second mustang I have trained but my first from the blm. I have worked with and trained lots of different breeds of horses. My goal in my training is to give my horses a solid well rounded base; based on trust and understanding. For the horses to respond not react. I train my horses to be confident so any good home can go in any direction with them.
Benevolence was named this for a reason.., although it is a mouthful she has been nothing but that since the moment she was loaded in my trailer. She was mostly calm the entire ride from Burns home. She is sweet and kind., and not explosive or over reactive in the slightest. She wants to be a good girl, she is calm and She is smart, she thinks about things.., which is my favorite quality in a horse, and rare to find.
The picture is her with my significant other she has been around both of us a lot since day one.

Open to visits? Yes, please this is something I highly value!!!Hi my name is Tierra Davies; I am 19 years old I recently came home from college from Montana State University after doing a semester of Animal Sciences. If I am not out working or riding horses you can catch me spending time with my friends and family, fishing, traveling, at drill team practice, or shopping, but specifically for my horses hehe. Winnie is an amazing mover, partially gaited and is very responsive to pressure. She excels best with a confident leader and would be best in a home that is frequently working with her. After her training I could see her being a great horse for some one that likes to ride distance. She has great stamina and carries herself very well. As of now I plan on putting her through the auction unless a great home comes along then I will be negotiating a fair price to part with Winnie. I strongly encourage you to reach out to me through our Facebook training page referred to as “Tierra’s Training with tag #8073” with any questions you may have. If you see yourself being a great fit, I would love to set up a time/day for you to come meet this sweet girl.

Open to visits? Yes, visitors are welcome and it's preferred that you meet the horse prior to the event/adoption/auction. I am also open to hauling out to a public arena if you would like to meet on neutral territory.Casino is very smart and picks up new things quickly, one she understands what you're asking. She is going to be a very big, stout mare who will probably grow to over 16 hh and 1200 lbs, but for her size she is very light on her feet. She is easy to catch both in her pen and pasture. She has been lightly started under saddle by Mustang Matt. I am continuing to do ground work with the hopes of putting a few more rides on her myself. We have been working on mounting and dismounting from a mounting block (she is too tall for me to mount from the ground), clipping, trailering, and obstacle work in hand. She loads well into the trailer and travels well. She is NOT the dominant horse of my two challenge mares.

Open to visits? YesHi my name is Nevaeh Davies, I am 13 years old I just graduated 7th grade. I enjoy working with a variety of horses, but specifically love riding and barrel racing my competition horse from 2021, Pistol Annie. I trained her when I was 10 and broke her to ride. In my free time aside from horses, I enjoy going fishing and spending time with friends and family. I am competing in the teen in hand division with tag #8224 also known as Rooster from the Stinkingwater HMA. Rooster is a red roan yearling at bout 12.3 hands. Rooster excels most when he is included in events with people and other horses. He is extremely friendly and has the goofiest personality. I think Rooster will be best on the trails as he will be a big, stocky boy and loves to be easy going. I originally was going to auction him off, but I have found him a great potential home and have planned on using the “buy It now” method and he will no longer be going through the auction.
Check out the MYWY Success Story of Britton & Kairus
Sometimes things are just meant to be. The events leading up to my attending MYWY in 2021 are their own incredible story, and I definitely did not intend to bring home a yearling. I made the conscious decision to be open, and focus on “bringing home the right horse for me.” Mace did not have much on social media like several of the other competition horses, but she was a larger yearling and floated when she moved. She was incredibly friendly with everyone and Libby’s excellent care of her was evident throughout the competition. Libby gave her an extraordinary start and she came well equipped for domestic life and learning to be both my liberty and riding partner. Mace was renamed Kairus when she arrived in NJ after a long trip from WA. We spent our first year together going for in-hand walks, working through the basics of liberty training, expanding on her knowledge of lunging, learning to ground drive, and figuring out obstacles and jumps. She was well prepared for our first ride. She was incredibly easy to start under saddle, and our first ride was uneventful as she tried to figure out how to work with me. She is now learning to carry herself effectively under saddle, both on the trail and in the ring. Owning a Living Legend has been a wild and fulfilling ride. I have had to step up my own education and become a continual student, because she is often “too smart for me.” She is a sweet snuggle bug and willing to tackle any new challenge. I am extremely grateful to the MYWY family for setting us both up for success. I’m excited to see where this adventure takes us!
